Financing, timelines, permits and warranty — the questions we get on almost every first call.
Yes. We work with two third-party lenders who offer fixed-rate home improvement loans, typically approved within 24–48 hours. We'll walk you through the options during your estimate — there's no obligation to finance through us, and paying by cash or check never changes your price.
It depends on scope. A bathroom refresh usually runs 1–2 weeks; a full kitchen gut is typically 3–6 weeks; room additions run 6–12 weeks depending on permitting. You'll get a specific date range in writing with your estimate, and we'll flag it immediately if anything (material backorders, inspection delays) pushes the timeline.
We do. Any job that requires a permit under Ohio and local building code — additions, structural changes, electrical and plumbing rough-in — is filed and scheduled by us, and it's included in your written estimate. We never start permitted work before the permit is in hand.
Yes — Ohio Contractor License #OH-2007-4471, bonded to $500,000, and carrying $2M in general liability coverage. We'll provide a certificate of insurance on request, before any contract is signed.
Every completed job carries a written labor warranty (1 year on repairs, up to 5 years on full remodels and additions). Manufacturer warranties on materials — roofing, fixtures, appliances — are passed through separately and vary by product.
Typically 10–15% to schedule and order materials, with the remaining balance broken into milestone payments tied to completed phases of work — never full payment up front, and never full payment before your final walkthrough.
Yes, always, with no obligation. We come to the property, measure and assess the scope in person, and follow up with an itemized written estimate — usually within one business day of the walkthrough.
